NEW ERA IRON MAN War Machine fitted cap

Pardon the crappy BlackBerry cam pics, but this was a discovery while out on the humble. Pictured here is the upcoming NEW ERA IRON MAN War Machine fitted cap. We heard this was supposed to drop next week, but we spotted one in the wild. Those that are about their business will recognize this familiar face. The original limited edition Iron Man release in 2008, was a masterpiece in polyurethane vinyl. Here is its literal Brother-in-arms in Black and Silver. Don Cheadle replaces Terrence Howard as Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes in the sequel which drops May 7th. We’ll be back soon with much better photos and release info

SALVIN SHOES x NEW ERA 59Fifty Fitted Cap

SALVIN SHOES is the oldest shoe store in Connecticut. It first opened it’s doors in 1927, seven years after NEW ERA started its business as a cap manufactuer. Flash forward 83 years to the present day, and you have the first collaboration between the two American classics. Lindsay Mcnary, daughter of the owner Joan Shoham says, the motto in Salvin’s is “Hartford, we go hard”. The often forgotten town shows off its pride with the first New Era 59Fifty fitted baseball cap. The logo was designed by : Bobby Alves & Safe (Mi Gente Clothing / The Atf). The style comes in Navy and Black.

GEAR: Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Dan Hwang

Personally, I feel the best designs often come from people that are actual fans of sneakers. In this case, we have Dan Hwang, co-founder of FM, creating the latest Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke to drop at Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer.

Using materials as unique as the design, Dan decided to use Kevlar, Bulgaro Leather, and Japan’s Loopwheeler Fleece as the standout items on the shoe. The combination results in a very industrialized version of the AF1. Add in the juxtaposition of the denim, gray, and soft white colors on the shoe with the hints of yellow throughout and on the waxed laces, and you have a very special design. Of course they wouldn’t be complete without the “FRESH,” which is provided by a FRESH 09″ inscribed on the lace locks
