"Love & Hip-Hop" star Mandeecees Harris' court trial for sexual abuse against a minor began, and the now 19-year-old alleged victim took the stand to speak about the abuse she reportedly suffered at the hand of Mandeecees.
The Cliff View Pilot reported that the woman revealed at the trial that Mandeecees went from being a "father figure" she could trust to someone who forced her into sex for money after moving into his Lodi, New Jersey home in 2009. In over an hour the woman recounted what happened from the very first time Mandeecees allegedly abused her.
"Mendeecees made me feel comfortable. He would give me advice. He'd say 'It'll be okay between you and your mom'," the woman said.
Then came an afternoon when, with no one else home, she realized in the shower that she didn't have a towel.
"I asked him to get me one, and he did," the woman testified. "Then he came into my room and suggested I let him masturbate on me, but I just laughed."
From that point, the woman says the abuse continued as Mandeecees would give her "$15 and $20 for lunch or maybe a ball game." She says that Mandeecees then coerced her into giving him oral sex by using extremely private information only known to the victim and her mother.
"He told me he knew I had been raped when I was 8 years old," she said, "and he found out from my mother."
"'Your mom doesn't want you here'," the woman said Harris told her before exposing himself. The victim said she complied to his request "to get back at my mom."
"I felt betrayed by her," she said. "I didn't tell her about it until I was 14, and it was something I didn't want anyone to know."
Harris defense attorney Brian Neary claims the victim made the entire story up to avoid getting sent to live with her father down South. Neary will cross examine the victim on Thursday.
If convicted of the seven counts of sexual abuse on minor, Mandeecees faces up to 20 years in prison.
