Killaz Battle League: Brooklyn Hanz vs Iron Sheikh

What started with just a simple idea proposed during a company meeting by Battle Rap journalist Michael Hughes, has now evolved into a full-blown battle league. Through various interviews conducted by Hughes, and business meetings with Vlad, one of Battle Rap's elite MCs, Math Hoffa, was brought on board and contributed greatly to the first ever Killaz Battle League event. Combine those two factors with VladTV's colossal presence on the Internet, connecting with millions of individuals on a daily basis, and you have the birth of a fresh and powerful battle league to help the culture evolve as a whole: Killaz. The first battle that took place on the historical Killaz Battle League event on May 11th, 2013, was a highly anticipated gritty street match between two of the realest MCs in the game, Iron Sheikh vs Brooklyn Hanz. Both rappers are certified when it comes to their street cred, which only made this battle and the bars they spit more interesting and believable for fans to enjoy. Iron Sheikh, a Bronx representative, came spitting hard street bars combined with a conscious, preacher-like style reminiscent of his Lionz Den teammate, Loaded Lux. N.Y.B member Hanz came with pure aggression, gritty bars, and an impressively clean and polished performance, for this was his first battle to ever be caught on film. It could be judged either way depending on which style of rap you like best. Who do you think won, Iron Sheikh, or Brooklyn Hanz? **Round 2 of Brooklyn Hanz vs Iron Sheikh will drop tomorrow, May 30th, 2013 at 12 p.m.

Drect Says "T-Rex Evolved More Than Math Hoffa!

Drect, the founder of Grind Time and self-proclaimed "Steve Jobs of battle rap" stopped by our VladTV headquarters for an exclusive interview where he shared his predictions for the upcoming VladTV Killaz Battle League card. Drect was surprised to hear that Math Hoffa and T-Rex were going to be facing off again for a second time, and said that he feels as though Rex has evolved more as a battler over the years than Math has. However, that's no shot at Math's skills at all. He was also intrigued by the Bigg K vs Shotgun Suge battle as well as the Hanz vs Iron Sheikh, since Hanz has never battled on camera before, and Sheikh hasn't battled in a long time. These are guaranteed to be some classic matchups that the battle rap community will thoroughly enjoy. The first ever historical Killaz Battle League event will be taking place on May 11th at Club Element located at 225 E. Houston St, NYC. The doors will open at 3pm. If you'd like to purchase your tickets prior to the day of the epic battles, you can purchase them for $30 dollars at vladtv.eventbrite.com. If you'd rather purchase them at the door, they'll be priced at $40. This is strictly a 21+ event. Also on the card, will be performances from Styles P and Loaded Lux.

Math Hoffa & T-Rex Go Off Before Battle: "You Gonna Die!" (Killaz Battle League)

Math Hoffa and T-Rex are going to be facing off for a second time around on the upcoming VladTV Killaz Battle League. The first battle was a pure classic that is still often debated till this day. A lot has happened over the years between the two battlers that will surely provide some interesting punchlines for each emcee in the rounds they spit. The face-off between them was full of energy and only a preview of what to expect from their second rumble in the ring. The rematch will take place on May 11th at Club Element located at 225 E. Houston St, NYC.
